A commercial application of time-lapse filming. Dean Dyball and Network Rail, the contractors and operators of the station, decided that it would be a good idea to record this, the building of the first of a new kind of modular station. Time-lapse is the ideal medium, since it can encompass such large periods of time and compress them into a short and easily watchable piece. This piece was done in association with Exposure TV (click to visit them). This was extremely labour intensive, since it needed constant manning, but this also gave us an opportunity to move camera angles to follow the action.
